Ferrari presented a convertible form of the 550 at the Paris Motor Show in 2000. This Barchetta was an accurate roadster with no genuine convertible top furnished. The manufacturing plant did give a delicate top, yet it was proposed just for transitory use as it was forewarn against utilizing the top above 70 mph (110 km/h). What added up to 448 Barchettas were transformed, four more than at first arranged because of concerns of superstition in the Japanese market.
