On 8 April 2010, Ferrari published official portions of the 599 GTO. The auto is a street going form of the 599xx and Ferrari says that the 599 GTO is their speediest way auto ever, fit to lap the Fiorano test circuit in 1 moment 24 seconds, one second quicker than the Enzo Ferrari. Ferrari claims the 599 GTO can achieve 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 3.35 seconds and has a top speed of over 335 km/h (208 mph). At 1,605 kilograms (3,538 lb), the 599 GTO weighs very nearly 100 kg (220 lb) less than the standard Gtb.[8] Production is restricted to 599 autos. Of these, more or less 125 were transformed for the United States market. Ferrari has given just two different models the GTO designation: the 1962 250 GTO and the 1984 288 GTO. Unlike the past Gtos notwithstanding, the 599 GTO was not intended for homologation in any hustling series.
