In March 1962, the TL-based Fronte TLA traveler auto showed up. The name was intended to symbolize Suzuki's position at the front of Kei auto advancement, and in addition implying its FF layout. The Fronte accepted an alternate grille from its working sister and in addition an adjusted back finish, with a top-pivoted trunk cover (later bottom pivoted) and move down back windows. Softer springs and a more rich inner part made it more agreeable. Improvements usually reflected those of the Van forms, until the Lc10 Fronte displaced it in 1967.
